Interest-Based Ads Policy

+ View Section Navigation

The Interest-Based Advertisements Policy (the “Ad Policy”) describes the practices of Americare Group (sometimes referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) in connection with the information we collect through software applications and websites that we operate and that contain a link to this Ad Policy (an “Application” or, together, the “Applications”).

Americare Group does not conduct interest-based advertising on any Applications (or portions thereof) that are directed to children as defined under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, or where Americare Group has actual knowledge that a user is under 13 years of age.

Americare Group allows third parties to serve advertisements on our behalf across our Applications and to provide analytics services. These third parties, including Facebook, may use cookies, web beacons, and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Applications and other websites and software applications, including your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, and conversion information. This information may be used by Americare Group and these third parties to analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests in our Applications and other websites and software applications, and better understand your online activity. This Ad Policy does not apply to, and we are not responsible for, third-party cookies, web beacons, or other tracking technologies and we encourage you to check the privacy policies of these third parties to learn more about their privacy practices.

Through the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”), the leading media and marketing associations have developed an industry self-regulatory program (the “Program”) to give consumers a better understanding of and greater control over the ads that are customized based on their online behavior across different websites. Americare Group adheres to the Digital Advertising Alliance’s self-regulatory principles for online behavioral advertising (www.AboutAds.info).

The Digital Advertising Alliance maintains a website where consumers can opt-out from receiving interest-based advertising from some or all of the network advertising companies participating in the Program (www.AboutAds.info/choices).

It is important to note that your choice to stop interest-based advertising is specific to the browser you are using. If you make a choice to opt-out from one computer browser, and you want your opt-out to apply to a different computer and/or browser, you must also opt-out from that computer. It is also important to note that most of these choices are cookie-based. If you delete cookies after making an opt-out choice, you will need to perform the opt-out again.
