Under leadership and assistance of the Sales Supervisor, works with prospective customers by telephone using best-practices materials to explain what Medicare covers and does not cover. Assists prospects in determining their gaps in coverage and corresponding priorities; provides no-obligation quotes on health and life insurance programs; assists prospective customers by verifying insurance program eligibility and health status; introduces program features and benefits; secures agreement to apply for program and collects all needed information using personal computer; reviews all information with prospect and verifies accuracy; obtains payment and signature electronically or via mail; and informs supervisor of activities within assigned area of responsibility. This position utilizes a best-practice discussion guide that allows for continuous improvement and high consumer satisfaction. High pressure sales tactics are not allowed or needed by our sales team.
